Severance: Blade of Night is a 2001 3D third-person PC action-adventure activity with an feature on close-quarter, hand-to-hand fight. It was designed by (now defunct) Language designer Insurgent Act Companies and released by Codemasters. The unique subtitle in immediate interpretation from Language is Blade: The Advantage of Night. There was however a display with the same headline in the USA, so the US founder modified the subtitle to Knife of Night and the same brand was pushed on the Western duplicates as well, even though no blade of this actual name presented in the experience.
