The Master of Competitors 2001 is a 2001 aggressive battling activity created by Eolith for the Neo Geo. It is the 8th activity in The Master of Competitors sequence and the first activity created following the closing of the unique SNK. The experience was created by theKorean-based organization Eolith and designed by Brezzasoft, a organization established by former SNK workers. The experience was ported to the Dreamcast in Asia only and PlayStation 2. The stand-alone PlayStation 2 edition was published in Northern The united states and European countries in a two-in-one package with the previous activity in the sequence, The Master of Competitors 2000. Both the unique Neo Geo edition and the Dreamcast edition were involved in The Master of Competitors NESTS Hen collection launched for the PlayStation 2 in Japan
